Pātaka Kai – Level 1 update

Pātaka Kai will re-open to whānau beginning Tuesday 16th June. From this date, regular opening hours will change to Tuesday – Friday, 12pm – 3pm.

Food parcels will be ready made and can be collected at the front of Pātaka Kai, rather than shopping for your food as was the case prior to lockdown.

If you are already engaged with VisionWest, please contact your key worker first.

Whānau not already engaged with a VisionWest key worker will be supported with food parcels three times during which you will be invited to connect with a key worker from VisionWest or an organisation of your choice. As always, we will work with whānau on a case by case basis if further food support is needed. Our intention is to support whānau beyond the need for food.

Please remember:

During this time, the quantity of food in your parcels may vary from what you are used to. Please be aware that VisionWest is doing everything we can to keep a consistent emergency food supply to you during these uncertain times.

Please remember to wash your hands and to be kind to each other as we work through this challenging time together.

Kia maumahara te horoi ō ringaringa, a, ka mahi tātou ki tēnei wā uaua kia atawhai atu tātou ki a tātou.
