Christmas Appeal

Christmas Appeal

IMPORTANT UPDATE 17/12/19: We are halfway there, but we are living on a prayer because we won’t have enough gifts for the Tamariki by weeks end. With higher numbers of Tamariki in Whānau seeking support over the previous four days, we have been stretched thin. So this is an urgent call out to the community to donate new gifts for children aged newborn to teens. Give the gift of Christmas by dropping in donated gifts this week to VisionWest 97 Glendale Rd, Glen Eden from 10.00am - 5.00pm.
100,000 kids live in food insecure homes in Aotearoa. 40,000 Kiwis find themselves in homeless circumstances, whether sleeping in cars, garages, in overcrowding, or living on the streets. More and more Kiwis are feeling the pinch and pain of the rising cost of living and cannot afford to pay their monthly bills.

And then Christmas arrives. A time for gift giving, family time, roast turkey, ham and chocolate covered strawberries! A pipe dream for those in need.

But NOT this year. VisionWest is teaming up with the City Mission to provide Christmas gifts and food for struggling West Auckland families. Hundreds of families over an eight day period will have the chance to receive, food, gifts, love, and connection.

We need your help
to make the magic come true.
A donation to our Christmas appeal will support 1600 families get the Christmas we believe all Kiwis deserve.
