Housed Whānau During COVID-19

VisionWest's Housing Service is an essential service and will remain in operation throughout Level 2.

If you ARE NOT currently housed by VisionWest, CLICK HERE.

We assure you that the safety and support of whānau and staff remains our top priority during this time.

This information is to inform those housed by VisionWest on what we are doing to keep you safe and maintain our support during this time. If you want to know more, please contact your Support Navigator.

To keep you and your whānau safe:

1. Your Support Navigator will connect with you via phone and text messages instead of visiting you face-to-face.

2. If you have any issues with your property, contact your Tenancy Manager by phone, text or email.

3. If you need tenancy support afterhours or in the weekend, contact our call centre: Phone 0800 664 464.

4. If we wish to contact you for any reason, including property inspections, we will contact you by phone first.

5. If you ARE NOT currently a VisionWest Housing client, CLICK HERE.

What does Level 2 COVID-19 mean for you?

We are now at Level 2 phase of COVID-19. This means:

• You are able to go out and mix with others.

• You must not get together in groups of more than 10 people.

• You can leave your house and go places like before the lockdown, but should still keep a two-metre distance from people you do not usually mix with.

• If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. a cough, fever, shortness of breath, sneezing or a runny nose), contact your GP (doctor).

• If you require assistance to get to your doctor, let your Support Navigator know.

Please remember to wash your hands and to be kind to each other as we work through this challenging time together.

For any health-related questions about COVID-19 please contact the dedicated COVID-19 Healthline number (0800 358 5453). You can also visit www.covid19.govt.nz for more information.
