Emergency Food Appeal

Stocks of essential foods in our Emergency Foodbank are running dangerously low – will you help by making a donation today?

Thousands of Kiwis are forced to live one payday to the next, struggling to make ends meet, just keeping their head above water. For them, after paying rent and essential bills, there is almost no money left to buy food. But you can help.

By donating today, you will help families, who would otherwise go without, access essential emergency food parcels at Visionwest's Pātaka Kai.

We need help to provide the right food to ensure families are well fed.

Visionwest is grateful to organisations and businesses that generously give food items – but this food supply is unpredictable and insufficient to meet the vast community need. Each week we must buy food to supplement what we receive for free.

As demand for emergency food keeps growing, we find ourselves needing more funds to buy the food families need.

Will you help to ensure people facing food poverty don't miss out on the emergency food they desperately need?

Please help in this time of emergency and beyond.

There are people in your local community who are struggling to put food on the table.

The uncertainty of COVID, decreased incomes and increased living costs mean many more people are finding it impossible to make ends meet. For the financially vulnerable, something as simple as an unexpected visit to the doctor or an outgrown pair of school shoes means money set aside for food is simply gone, eaten up by the need to pay an urgent bill.

This means our Emergency Pātaka Kai (Foodbank) is busier than ever as an increasing number of people turn to Visionwest for essential support.

Food poverty is a real and ongoing issue for thousands of Aucklanders and, with your help, we are determined to do something about it.

A donation of any size will put food on the table for Kiwis who are struggling and help them get through these tough times with dignity and hope.

Thank you so much for your generosity.
