VisionWest is very excited to welcome James Widgery, recent winner of the Vodafone Foundation World of Difference Fund which will enable James to work with our Training Centre for 12 months. The Vodafone NZ Foundation supports passionate people to work with a youth related charity of their choice for one year. James has been volunteering with VisionWest Training Centre for one day a week and this grant will mean that he can now work full time on a project. The project will include the establishment of an onsite cafe; creating training and development opportunities for youth.
