Changing face of Homecare

On October 3rd, the final stages complete, VisionWest Baptist Homecare took on the business operations of Homecare services previously operated by the Salvation Army across Auckland, Waikato, and Rotorua.   This has been a year long process and we're really excited about expanding our support services, and working with such an authentic, passionate organisation as Salvation Army has been incredibly rewarding.

Clients and staff will not be significantly affected by the change. Under the sale, clients will retain the same support workers they currently have and the same standard of care.

The reason for the sale is that The Salvation Army has decided to more closely focus on its core clients – those struggling with deep-rooted poverty or acute distress; helping them to achieve independence and greater opportunity for themselves and their families.
