What We Offer

Our Centre was established prior to 1988 as Glen Eden Baptist Kindergarten and has been a longstanding provider of quality childcare in West Auckland. All of the teaching team at the Kindy are registered, qualified teachers. The teaching team is supported by a Centre Administrator who can help with enrolments and other queries.

VisionWest Kindy is Reggio Emilia inspired and encourages children in their interests and learning preferences. You can read more about our Philosophy here. We give children the opportunity to refine social skills, build healthy self-esteem, and provide academic experiences full of sensory integration allowing for optimal brain development. This is achieved by implementing Te Whaariki – the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum and our long-term goals.

Daily sessions include:

• Morning sessions (8:30am -12:30pm);
• Afternoon Sessions (1:00 – 4:00pm); and
• Whole day sessions (8:30am – 4:00pm).

Daily activities include:

• Small and Large group activities;
• Music & Movement;
• Art & Creativity;
• Own play choices;
• Outdoor Exploration; and much more
