
Learning and development is part of being a Support Worker at VisionWest Baptist Homecare. Formal, paid sessions are conducted regularly throughout the year and are and attendance at these is compulsory. These sessions provide staff with the opportunity to ask questions, learn about recent industry developments, review VisionWest policies and procedures, and mix and mingle with other staff. On top of this, VisionWest facilitates Careerforce Training packages for the National Certificate in Community Support Services Foundation Skills (Level 2) and Core Competencies (Level 3).
