Our Centre has been working effectively in our community since 1993. We are externally audited by CYFS and all our Counsellors are registered with the New Zealand Christian Counselling Association and/or New Zealand Association of Counsellors. Meet the team here.
VisionWest’s philosophy is to make counselling accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Our fee structure is set on a sliding scale which is means tested - that means your fee will be based on your total family income. Fees start at $80.00 per hour. Some clients may be eligible for funding through WINZ, CYFs, or YourChoice (for young people aged 18-24). Our Centre is also ACC accredited, which means that if you’re making an ACC claim, you can access up to 16 sessions straight away. Visit ACC for more details.
