School Uniform and Curtain Bank
VisionWest Community Care receives donated second-hand school uniforms and school shoes, for schools in the West Auckland region. Low-income families can receive the donated uniforms from the School Uniform Bank situated at 97 Glendale Road, Glen Eden.
School uniforms can be donated to the School Uniform Bank during open hours or by dropping into the VisionWest main office.
The curtain bank was established in response to an identified need for people to have warmer, healthier homes. Access to free curtains to help with insulation and heating in the winter months, is essential to the health and wellbeing of many low income families.
Donations of new or near new curtains and railings canbe made to the Curtain Bank by arrangement with the Community Chaplain.
