- Making own play choices

- Large group activities
- Storytime
- Music and movement
- Art and creating
- Outdoor exploration
- Morning tea and afternoon tea
- Lunch for those who attend all day
The programming and activities in the centre are based on the emerging interests of the children. Portfolios are created for each child recording the child’s learning and activities whilst at the centre.
VisionWest staff value the important role of parents and family/whanau in their child’s learning and development. Family/whanau are welcome to contribute to the programme planning and life of the kindergarten as a child’s learning and development is enhanced through the partnership between family and staff.
VisionWest Christian Kindergarten has an open-door policy where parents and whanau are welcome in the centre anytime during their child’s session.
